MAZ Group have been appointed to complete the much anticipated redevelopment of the Melbourne Airport Terminal 1 Departures Level Retail, Food and Beverage precinct. This exciting project to upgrade the busy Qantas Terminal in a ‘live environment’ will see the demolition and removal of existing retail spaces and escalators, followed by the infill of the atrium and the creation of “The Square”, a brilliant, light-filled transit lounge with 15 spaces for high-end retailers, as well as a state-of-the-art ceiling, luxurious seating configurations and high-end finishes throughout. The project is also responsible for the upgrade of Services infrastructure assets feeding Terminal 1 that were required to facilitate the new retail expansion works. |
